Udupi, July 16: Sri Sri Vidyasagara Theertha Swamiji of Sri Krishnapura Mutta inaugurated the Krishnaveni Ashrayadhamaa – a retirement home, and the Krishnaveni Ayurveda Treatment and Wellness Centre, developed by the Salmara Govind Bhat Family Trust at Salmara in Shankerpura, on Monday 15 July.
In his blessings, Swamiji said, “Ayurveda is our traditional system. It is an ancient system. This Ashrayadhama and health center is a noble work in Kaup taluk. The principles of Ayurveda are based on science. Today, even a qualified student from a poor family can get a seat.Many students aspire to become Ayurvedic doctors.If this institute grows in a proper way, it will soon become an Ayurvedic college and a resource for many aspiring students. family.
Former minister Vinay Kumar Sorake said, “Those who remember their elders and do good work in their name always do good works. Hope has given the elderly a chance to live a happy life in their old age. Humanity should exist in all its individual levels, and the family has done a good job in this regard.
Haridas Bhat, patron of Salmara Govind Bhat Family Trust, gave an introductory speech and explained about Krishnaveni Ashrayadhamaa – an old age home, and the Krishnaveni Ayurveda Medical and Wellness Centre.
Dr. Niranjan Chiplunkar, principal of NMAMIT Nitte; Prashanth Poojary, president of Kurkal gram panchayat; Malini Shetty, president of Innanje gram panchayat; Prabha Shetty, president of Katapady gram panchayat; and Geethanjali Suvarna, former zilla panchayat member, were present on the occasion.
Dr. Ramesh Mithanthaya designed the program. Shashidhar Tantry welcomed the meeting. Dr. Laxmish Upadhyaya was also present.
